JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION: Job Title: Marketing & Communications ManagerEmployment Type: PermanentLocation: Sandton,Johannesburg JOB CONTEXT:To support the development and delivery of a strategic communications platform for the firm through which the firm's internal and/or external communications and media requirements are appropriately channeled and leveraged in support of strategic objectives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Formulate a communication and marketing strategy for the firm considering internal and external requirements, as well as public / media relations objectives.Plan the firm's annual communications schedule in alignment with focus areas by establishing internal and external communication requirements and objectives for sectors, practice groups and various Business Services departments.Assist with determining the budgets to meet these needs.Assist to determine target audience profiles and ensure messages and content are tailored appropriately as per key-messages agreed in the marketing and content strategies.Draft newsletters and articles for internal or external distribution. Oversight of marketing collateral production.Send all communication to clients (internal and external) by means of emails or a subscriber list.Adhere to the writing firm's style and corporate image guide (CI) and ensuring all policies and processes in the use of branding is in place.Monitor all internal and external platforms to ensure that all content is up-to-date and compliant with brand CI guide. Support graduate recruitment campaigns.Work with digital marketing manager to develop integrated digital marketing campaigns.Provide internal training to empower and enable fee earner to engage effectively on social media platforms.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 - Essential.Bachelors Honours Degree / NQF Level 8 - Preferred.Years of experience: Up to 5 years.Professionally qualified and experienced specialists and mid- management.Area of Experience: Communications/Public Relations.Marketing.Experience in law firm.COMPETENCIES:Behavioral Competency: Integrity.Collaboration and teamwork.Work Excellence.Respect.Transformation and diversity.Leadership Competency: Firm leadership.People leadership.Self-leadership.Technical Competency: Communication (written and oral).Computer literacy.Customer/Client focus.Financial analysis.Specialist knowledge.
