About the job
Purpose: To assist and support the Marketing teams (Wine and Spirits) with financial (SAP) and administrative tasks. In addition, the role involves interacting and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and assist with the execution of marketing event and trade support activities.
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Completion of an accounting course (certificate or diploma preferred) with a solid understanding of basic financial principles. SAP expertise: Proven experience working with SAP, specifically in purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice management. Knowledge of SAP is a critical requirement. 5 Years relevant experience in a support capacity in sales, marketing, finance or customer service Experience in the Liquor and/or FMCG industry will be an advantage
Skills Required: Excellent planning and organising skills Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders effectively Attention to detail is critical Sound administrative skills Ability to work independently and without supervision Computer literate on an advanced level (SAP, Microsoft, Word, Excel and Power point)
Job Summary: SAP Management: Raise purchase orders (POs) and goods receipts (GRs). Process invoices accurately and promptly in SAP. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of invoices and resolve any discrepancies Collaborate with the finance department to ensure alignment on all financial processes. Arrange all payment requisitions and submit for payment timeously Draw all relevant reports from SAP to enable monthly & quarterly reporting, e.g. operating expense reports Budgeting and Forecasting support to the marketing team
Other/General: Assist with ad-hoc projects Travel and accommodation arrangements Assist with Brand and Trade related events Arrange Marketing related conferences and events Ensure correct, relevant and timeous communication and liaison with service providers (verbal and written) Manage liquor sample process General office support: Telephone calls, stationary, delivery of wine
