Job description The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in executing campaigns, managing content, and analysing market trends. Responsibilities and Duties Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials. Content Creation: Write and edit marketing copy for online and offline materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and brochures. Create engaging visual content using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite). Social Media Management: Manage and schedule posts across the company's social media platforms. Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and inquiries. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Compile and present findings to the marketing team to inform strategy. Administrative Duties: Maintain marketing databases and update customer and prospect information. Organize marketing events and coordinate logistics, including booking venues and arranging materials. Manage inventory of marketing materials and reorder as necessary. Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns. Prepare reports and presentations for management review. Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications and Skills: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role is an advantage. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is preferred. Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp). Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices. Creative thinking and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
