Applicants must have at least four years marketing and communications experience working in a business-to-business company. The applicant will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing the marketing and communication strategy. The applicant must possess a strong work ethic, an ability to be proactive and to work well with colleagues, as well as independently. The Marketing and Communications Administrator will report directly to the Managing Executive responsible for marketing and communication.Requirements and QualificationsBachelors degree or diploma in marketing, PR, communication, business, or related fieldMinimum 4 years of experience in communications, PR, or related fieldExperience with technologies and best practices for campaigns across multiple platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and monitor several projects and accounts on a daily basisAbility to work well under pressure and manage time effectivelyAbility to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box ideasExcellent media relations skillsAbility to work independently or in a teamOwn transport and be prepared to travel occasionally to manage exhibitions or visit regional officesDuties and ResponsibilitiesImplement communication and brand strategiesWork closely with management, staff and external vendorsConduct research for sales/ marketing purposesEnsure all messaging aligns with key business strategiesManage and work closely with advertising/PR/digital agencies and marketing departments of key vendorsBrainstorm and collaborate with teams for new ideas and strategiesDevelop and co-ordinate budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedulesPlan and oversee the design, content, and production of marketing materialsDevelop strategies for current and existing products, launches, & promotionsIdentify media and press opportunities with the PR agencyHave a good understanding and experience of online and social media including Google AdWords, Google Remarketing and LinkedInAssist to manage website and other digital platformsAssist to develop high-quality content for press releases and social media,Assist with and manage exhibitions, events websites, newsletters and other distribution channelsAbility to prepare reports, analysis, budget controls etc.Manage internal and client communication
