Position Objectives This role will form part of the Marketing and Admissions Department. This team will work together to deliver on both Marketing and Admissions for the Group.The Group Marketing and Admissions Manager will be responsible for a dedicated team of three staff and work closely with internal marketers and admissions staff in our schools.The core purpose of the role of the KSG Group Marketing and Admissions Manage is to be a brand ambassador who understands the value proposition of the schools in our Group, appreciates individual parent and student needs in order to effectively sell our schools to prospective parents.The Group Marketing and Admissions Manager should develop a deep understanding of individual parent and student needs and appropriately tailor the approach to each situation to provide a personalised visit experience and drive a high rate of conversions to drive new enrolments.Responsibilities Develop personal rapport with prospective parents and students by gathering as much information on specific needs, background and profile of each parent and student based on the information provided to tailor the visit.Deliver personalised visit experience to each prospective parent and student by effectively and persuasively articulating the KSG unique selling points.Conduct 1:1 and group tours of the school and answer parent and student queries during post tour consultations and assist families with the application process through to enrolment status.Act as brand ambassador and present the schools in the Group to prospective parents and students at recruitment events, open days and information sessions locally (possibly in regional markets once boarding is introduced).Liaise with Heads of Schools and internal campus coordinators in terms of all aspects of campus promotion and visits to campuses.Liaise with campus Deputies regarding Entrance Assessments for prospective enrolees.Attend and promote the school at internal and external events with prospective new parents throughout the year (Open Days, Choir/Theatre shows, Sports Days, networking, etc)The appointee responsibility for safeguarding privacy of data relating to all prospective parents students as required by POPIA is a key obligation.Position Requirements Excellent verbal communication, presentation and persuasion skills in a 1:1 and group setting.Excellent telephone skills.Strong administration skills associated with managing applications, keeping accurate data and records, waiting lists and offers to parents.Experience in dealing with clients in a diverse and inclusive setting.Have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.Must have strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written, and proficiency in isiZulu, Setswana or Sesotho is desirable.Be willing to work after hours, over weekends and in school holidays, as required to accommodate prospective parents.Strong skills in report-writing to include admissions data, trends, comparative analysis and projections.Qualifications A minimum of three years service in an administrative or academic role.Previous sales and marketing experience is a key requirement for this role.Contacts and Key Allies Heads of SchoolsCampus Deputy HeadsMarketing ConsultantSenior Staff at local feeder schoolsGroup CEO and Head Office TeamNature of Role Ability to get to know each of our five campuses, their geography, personnel, and special character.Ability to deliver walking tours on multiple campuses in a single day.Meetings as required.Individual contributor working as part of the Head Office team.Fast-paced and flexible work environment.Prepared to work additional hours to meet demands of the job.Requirement to attend selected events outside of business hours.Personal Qualities The successful candidate will: Have enthusiasm and interest in engaging with prospective parentsBe service orientated and customer focusedThe application should include a short covering letter and a brief CV.
