Market Development Manager

My client, a large Multi-National, is looking for an experienced Market Development Manager to take the lead in research and developing market strategies to manage projects that aim to increase production and sales of exported products into the South African Market and International markets. Must have completed a Bachelor's Degree (B. Engineering or BSc / Metallurgy / Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical Engineering or Sales or Marketing).Key Responsibilities:Market Growth and Projects: Identify, develop and manage projects to increase stainless steel consumption locally and globally.Market Research: Conduct research on competing products.Strategy Development: Develop strategies to enter new markets.Market Intelligence: Conduct research, obtain and keep marketing information on existing and new developments.Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and assess customer needs.Liaison/Coordination: Coordinate between departments on project-related orders and for product development.Travel both domestically and internationally as required.
