Requirements: Marketing Degree education is required At least 3 years experience in Marketing Events/Agency background preferable Sponsorship, ambassador and influencer trend knowledge Must be a peoples person with the ability to build strong relationships MS. Office Technical Requirements: Good communication skills Excellent organisation skills are essential Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Able to work within a team Have knowledge of marketing communications Have knowledge of Influencer, sponsorship and ambassador relations Must be a creative thinker and add value to local campaign concepts Job Purpose: The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing team with all marketing related activities. The Marketing Coordinator will own strategies for PR, events, sponsorship/Ambassador/influencer activities. The above-mentioned marketing activities will cover the entire company in Sub-Saharan Africa. Responsibilities: Managing the brands PR and reporting on campaigns. Finding unique PR opportunities Managing and organizing all marketing related events across Sub-Saharan Africa Taking ownership of Company Influencer, ambassador and sponsorship relations, acting as a filter for all sponsorship requests Handling Company's branding and corporate apparel requirements, keeping stock of existing and sourcing new branded items Acting as support contact to the Marketing Manager for all Africa Marketing queries Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Campaign specific and monthly reporting Detail: Public Relations Manage all publication relations and build on the current PR strategy Events Manage all events across the verticals by collecting, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing agendas and projects Work closely with the appointed activations agency to implement and roll out events Coordinate and disseminate information to Company staff who are also involved in the event Managing Company sponsored events by liaising with relevant ambassadors and suppliers Supporting partner and closed loop events, from event set up through to event support and maintaining a positive brand image Sourcing new event opportunities and liaising directly with event organizers Sponsorships/Ambassadors/Influencer Acting as the filter for all Company sponsorship queries, whether they be monetary, or product based Sourcing new sponsor opportunities and ambassadors to support the marketing strategy Maintaining relationships with existing ambassadors, through monthly calls/meetings Manages that all contract obligations are adhered to Frequently report back on closed loop program sales initiatives Branding Handling Company's branding and corporate apparel requirements, keeping stock of existing and sourcing new branded items where necessary Communication and reporting Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team Africa Marketing support Support and fulfill all marketing requests from Africa Partners where relevant Maintain and develop specific marketing elements for Africa; flyers, posters, lamas, banners and other Facilitate in the delivery and collection of marketing materials between suppliers/agencies/distributors in Sub-Saharan Africa Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
