The Marketing Coordinator will own strategies for PR, events, sponsorship/Ambassador/influencer activities. The above-mentioned marketing activities will cover the entire company in Sub-Saharan Africa.Responsibilities:Managing the brands PR and reporting on campaigns. Finding unique PR opportunitiesManaging and organizing all marketing related events across Sub-Saharan AfricaTaking ownership of Company Influencer, ambassador and sponsorship relations, acting as a filter for all sponsorship requestsHandling Company's branding and corporate apparel requirements, keeping stock of existing and sourcing new branded itemsActing as support contact to the Marketing Manager for all Africa Marketing queriesAccepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsCampaign specific and monthly reportingDetail: Public RelationsManage all publication relations and build on the current PR strategyEventsManage all events across the verticals by collecting, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing agendas and projectsWork closely with the appointed activations agency to implement and roll out eventsCoordinate and disseminate information to Company staff who are also involved in the eventManaging Company sponsored events by liaising with relevant ambassadors and suppliersSupporting partner and closed loop events, from event set up through to event support and maintaining a positive brand imageSourcing new event opportunities and liaising directly with event organizersSponsorships/Ambassadors/InfluencerActing as the filter for all Company sponsorship queries, whether they be monetary, or product basedSourcing new sponsor opportunities and ambassadors to support the marketing strategyMaintaining relationships with existing ambassadors, through monthly calls/meetingsManages that all contract obligations are adhered toFrequently report back on closed loop program sales initiativesBrandingHandling Company's branding and corporate apparel requirements, keeping stock of existing and sourcing new branded items where necessaryCommunication and reportingAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the teamAfrica Marketing supportSupport and fulfill all marketing requests from Africa Partners where relevantMaintain and develop specific marketing elements for Africa; flyers, posters, lamas, banners and otherFacilitate in the delivery and collection of marketing materials between suppliers/agencies/distributors in Sub-Saharan AfricaPlease note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
