Incident Management System trained (IMS 100, 200 & 300). Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in Marine Operations &Assurance/ Port terminals.Ship/shore Terminal experience will be an added advantage.Ship vetting assurance and application of associated berth fit criteria.Knowledge of and experience in ISGOTT (latest edition); ship to shore safety checklist interface ensuring industry best practicesProviding maritime assurance for the safe and efficient operation of the berths. Responsibilities:Ensuring compliance with the site rules and associated industry guidance ISGOTT and related OCIMF publications.Providing support to the Production Manager on all maritime matters including acting as duty maritime individual for Island View.Ensuring effective co-ordination amongst the Company and external stakeholders (coastal ship schedulers and traders, Island View chemicals companies, TNPA, agents and surveyors) with regards to Berth Management Agreements "IV Operating Rules".Enforcing the "IV Operating Rules" and advise the Participants of any limiting circumstances in terms of vessel planning based on their nominations to promote efficiency of the systems.Ensuring that all vessels planned for berthing at Island View berths are positively vetted in compliance with safety management systems and the Management AgreementsProviding input for development of plant changes to meet production needs.Defining and integrating operational maritime requirements during scoping phase and commissioning of projects to ensure optimum performance.Monitoring and managing the exposure to demurrage.Ensuring that responsible parties are held accountable in the event of any damage to the berth infrastructure as it relates to the ship/shore interface.Conducting health & safety self-audits and OCIMF baseline criteria assessments of the ship shore interface and manage gaps.Registering and maintaining the terminals data in the OCIMF MTIS, including uploading the MTMSA and TIB.
