Manufacturing Training Manager

Manufacturing Training Manager (Preferably Certified SDF)
Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

Our client is a leading player in the manufacturing industry (Automotive industry) and is dedicated to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. They are seeking an experienced and passionate Manufacturing Training Manager on a six-month contract to help drive workforce development and operational excellence.

Key performance areas:
- Develop and deliver training programs: design, implement, and update training content tailored to manufacturing needs, technical skills and
compliance requirements.
- Safety and compliance training: Ensure workforce training aligns with occupational health and safety standards and South African Labour
Laws.
- Skills gap analysis and evaluation: assess training needs, monitor progress, and update programs to align with manufacturing goals.
- Performance tracking: report on training success and performance improvements to senior management.
- Mentorship and leadership: lead and mentor training coordinators and external trainers to foster a learning culture.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced Certifications in Training and Development, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are highly advantageous.

Experience and knowledge:
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a training or management role.
- Technical knowledge: familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory standards.

Proven Skills:
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in LMS, training software, and MS Office.
- Analytical skills for performance tracking and program evaluation.
