The focus lies on bringing value to customers through high-performing products that increase productivity and safety as well as to provide services and flexible maintenance programs that extend uptime and cut costs.The Role:To ensure optimal availability of relevant machine spares/equipment through efficient maintenance planning and schedules and to identify and record machine component norms for Performance Contracts.Key Responsibilities:Reconditioning of spares and material are co-coordinated to ensure availability, flow & to prevent backlog of reconditioning ordersMaterial & spares availability to be in accordance with the relevant specificationsProvide feedback on a continuous basis to keep key receivers informed of progressCompile performance & status reports for relevant key role-players on an ongoing basisRegularly update equipment & spares register on the planning system according to the department's needsProfile Required:Degree or Diploma in Engineering QualificationAdvanced Computer literacyProject Management Certificate (advantageous)Knowledge of Core Application systemsManagement / Supervisory experience (advantageous)Experience in maintenance planning (3 years)Inventory Planning and ManagementTrackless mining experience (advantageous)Valid driver's licensePhysical & Medical ability to function in an underground mining environmentWill be required to travelAfter hours remote support may be requiredPlease note that, should you not receive any response from us within 14 days, your application has been unsuccessful; we however thank you for your interest in our company.In Line with our EE Plan, HDSA (Historically disadvantaged South African) candidates will be given first preference.Please note that you must be physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment including meeting all customer vaccination requirements.
