Our business is made up of two divisions that work hand-in-hand to deliver quality paper products to our customers.IntroductionThe main purpose of the role is to ensure efficient operation of the paper machine.
The main duties include:Assist operators and controllers in the plant as and when required.Learning the rewinder, pope, paper machine and RCF plant.Feed paper to start a new reel on the re-winder.Running rewinder.Making a join after paper break at the rewinder.Assist monitoring the rewinder equipment condition and inform maintenance when not in good condition.Assist at the paper machine during tail feeding.Assist during breakdowns and shut.Assist with troubleshooting during periods of poor run-ability at the rewinder.Assist in any assigned maintenance tasks.Adherence to safety, environmental and quality standards.Ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.Assist anywhere on the plant as requested by senior management.Minimum RequirementsMatric with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.Technical diploma or B-Tech in Pulp and Paper.Preferably, one year experience in a Manufacturing environment.Good understanding of Safe Material Handling Requirements.
