Purpose & Overall Relevance for the OrganizationUsing data, sales trends and market research; develop tools to monitor, report and provide meaningful and actionable insights into market performance.Support in analysing seasonal performance providing guidance to Product Teams on range efficiency and effectiveness as well as to aid in improving forecasting accuracy and aid in maximising profitability.Act as local centre of excellence for all analytics related topics and drive implementation of analytics tools across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare data analysis for EM South across all distribution channels (B2B and B2C) and territories on a monthly (or more frequent) basis, providing recommendations and insights on including but not limited to:Sell In PerformanceSell Out PerformanceProfitability PerformanceOrderbook AnalyticsDigital Share PerformanceChannel and Marketplace AnalysisRange Analysis and Assortment OptimisationConsult across Functions and Channels ensuring most effective reporting and insight generation.Work with EM and Global Sales Development Teams to develop and improve reporting solutions and drive best practice across markets.Market contact for all key external and internal stakeholders.Ensure accuracy and relevancy of data analysed.Key RelationshipsGlobal: Global Sales DevelopmentMarket: EM Sales Development, FPS and DNA TeamsCluster: Channels, Brand, CTC, IT, Demand Planning and FinanceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent analytical skills.Strong presentation skills and storytelling ability.Good understanding of retail and consumer landscape, including retail KPI's.Highly skilled in translating business questions into analytical models.Understanding of Finance, Customer Service and Sales functions.Independent, logical thinker with high level of attention to detail.Excellent project management skills.Advanced user of MS Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint), PowerBI experience (or similar).Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum QualificationsExperience in leveraging data and analytics to inform strategies.University degree in business, finance, analytics, or similar.Experience in analytics and/or reporting role (commercial finance experience an advantage).Previous industry experience in Sporting Goods, Fashion, FMCG an advantage.Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.Strong interpersonal skills (communication, influencing, stakeholder management).3+ years retail management / retail operations / project management experience in a retail environment.AT ADIDAS WE HAVE A WINNING CULTURE.
