The Manager contributes their specific technical and organizational expertise to the team and has a strong understanding that their actions have an effect far beyond the specifics of any one project or initiative. Qualifications: EDUCATION:University degree in Library/Information Science, Computer Science, or acceptable combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE:A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in supporting educational/academic and/or collaborative technologies. Demonstrated ability to manage complex support environments and to resolve issues; Experience in developing documentation and standards would be an asset. Specific knowledge and experience with our current ARC systems, and an overall understanding of the University of Toronto environment would be a significant asset. Experience managing staff, preferably in a unionized environment.SKILLSExcellent oral and written communication, research, presentation and interpersonal skills.
