Job Title: Customer Orders ManagerReference: PS010217-SH-1A well-established plastic raw material company requires a Customer Orders Manager to manage all customer orders, working closely with the external sales team and senior management to ensure that customers receive their products on time within the plastic converting industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMinimum requirements for the role:Matric is essential.Previous internal sales experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.Experience in the plastic/polymer raw material or related markets is preferred but not essential.Previous internal sales administration experience is essential.Experience with Intacct / Sage products is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.Strong organisational and administration skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as a team player.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing all customer orders and working closely with the external sales team and senior management.Liaising with customers regarding the processing of orders.Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely deliveries of raw materials.Updating customers on back orders regarding stock.Ensuring all orders received are correctly captured.Communicating daily with the sales team and senior management regarding any developments.Keeping the external sales team informed of relevant developments for their accounts.Resolving customer complaints, issues, and queries in a timely manner.Completing and processing credit notes on time.Managing stock and ensuring the warehouse has sufficient stock for customer requirements.Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.Providing regular forecasts and insights to the sales team leader or director.Package & RemunerationSalary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
