The position can be based in Cape Town (South Africa) or Cairo (Egypt).The overall purpose of this position:The Manager of Data & Analytics SSEA, CIS & MEA is a pivotal role aimed at driving data & analytics transformation for assigned focus markets by establishing analytics frameworks, solutions, and ways of working to facilitate business growth via data-driven decisions.
You are responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to address market needs for data & analytics via the global data product portfolio and incubation of regional/local solutions with global potential.The role involves leading deep-dive analysis to uncover data-driven insights and translating them into actionable recommendations for the business.
You will collaborate with key partners and cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data & analytics briefs and deliver insights using various analytics techniques and methodologies.You will:Work in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to deploy DPaaS for the focus markets.
Drive adoption of global data products for the focus markets, working closely with Product Owners from D&A Hub.
Facilitate organizational transformation for the focus markets.Liaise with key stakeholders in the assigned focus markets to promote a data-driven decision culture and proactively identify business needs for data & analytics solutions and capabilities.
Work with business units to translate their goals into data & analytics initiatives that drive value and support decision-making.Lead deep-dive analysis for high-impact analytics use cases to facilitate data-driven decisions for the focus markets and regional partners.
Communicate complex data-driven insights in a way that enables non-technical partners to understand and act upon them effectively.Drive design and development of regional data & analytics solutions with GBS resources, collaborating with the IT team.Ensure performance analytics reporting for Omnichannel Hub.
Establish required frameworks and oversee data collection from the markets to provide a consolidated view for the region.
Lead digital campaign performance analytics for the region.Stay informed about industry methodologies, emerging technologies, and trends in data & analytics.We're looking for someone with:University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in the Data & Analytics field.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; hands-on experience with data science methodologies is a plus.Good understanding of business processes in Consumer and Commercial.Self-motivated with a good level of autonomy and a drive for results.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.Fluent in English.Ready for the challenge?What we offer:Our success depends on the people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress!
