Job OverviewTo manage and oversee all processes, projects, and activities that support the goals set out in the strategy for Support Services regarding Distribution Services in Tendahealth. FSP compliance and general office management and support advisers by providing an environment that is conducive to their business according to legislation and service delivery.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompliance and Risk Management- Legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance on all requirements are implemented and maintained at defined standards for area of responsibility.- Operational structures, measures, and frameworks for risk control, management, and governance within the area of responsibility are implemented.- Ensure area of responsibility is a valuable contributor to the Afrocentric Group social awareness and corporate citizenship objectives and strategy.Financial Management- Accountability for allocated cost centre budget, variances, reports, and overall financial management.Operating Model- Develop operational plans to meet the defined delivery objectives, supporting and being supported by peer teams and areas of responsibility.- Optimise the core operational internal processes and internal supply chain and resolve operational conflicts.- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual new business sales targets.- Ensure retention of the correct members based on risk profiles.Operational Implementation of Strategy- Plan and implement changes to the operations of the area of responsibility to respond to macro and micro-economic conditions, legislation, competition, market sentiment, and the industry in general.- Provide input into and develop the business plan for the area of responsibility.- Ensure business plan is implemented in a manner that supports operational, quality, and market imperatives.- Communicate business plan in alignment with strategic context and strategic implementation plans to ensure operational best practice and continuous improvement.Operational Leadership- Accountability for the operational performance by team as per Human Capital frameworks and policies to ensure delivery to agreed standards and objectives.Stakeholder Management- Create a supportive, sustainable, and productive broker network that facilitates the growth and sales success of the Broker community.- Ensure Broker skill levels meet the required standards through training on market-related issues and product-related issues.- Ensure appropriate, active, and informative relationships with customers, value chain partners, and industry players (if applicable) are in place.Position Specific OutputsOversee and manage receiving of all new business submitted by advisers.Manage and report on all Adviser's contracted:Adviser contracting expectationsEnsuring that all documents are in placeAdviser training in processesAdviser enquiriesAd Hoc ProjectsManage system processes to support advisers and administrative activities.Provide marketing material and promotional items to advisers and ensure that there is enough stock in the Office.Obtain approval for relevant projects and compile proposals to support Tendahealth objectives.Report on all key aspects of the division, results, progress of projects, and stumbling blocks.Manage and oversee completion of enquiries received in the mailboxes and ensure that the necessary actions are taken to complete the enquiries in set timeframes.Manage system development and maintenance by:Prioritising system needs according to Tendahealth's goals.Reporting on progress and stumbling blocks.Regular meetings with IT to address requirements and needs.Assisting with broad specifications for system requirements and implementing the system.Ensure that applicable legislation is adhered to within the system environment.Regular feedback on development, results, and stumbling blocks must be provided to Directors.Coordinate and capture documents and quotes on other Product supplier systems to ensure business growth within set guidelines.Manage and implement necessary policy documents and control measures to ensure proper governance and compliance.Coordinate projects, tasks, and actions of all employees, including personnel and their day-to-day activities.Ensure that job descriptions are updated.Allocate resources to ensure the achievement of goals within set timelines.Actively demonstrate Tendahealth values in the execution of daily tasks.Coordinate and facilitate monthly adviser meetings in collaboration with the directors.All other tasks which the incumbent can reasonably be expected to perform in his/her work environment.Manage and oversee the contracting process with new consultants and ensure that all expectations with compliance are met.Ensure that compliance activities for Tendahealth are in order in collaboration with the Compliance officer and Directors.Ensure that the quarterly fit and proper declaration of consultants are done timeously.Liaise with compliance officer on a monthly basis to ensure good governance.Responsible for updating policies and documents of Tendahealth according to legislation and needs of the company.Provide relevant information to management regarding changes in legislation and how it should be enforced as well as industry benchmarking.Complaints – ensure finalisation and correct protocols within the complaints resolution process.Manage and oversee QA in Tendahealth.Competency Requirements:AttributesEntrepreneurship: Take chances to continuously
