MANAGER: MARKETING AND SALES - PINETOWN Sales / Marketing / Communications Pinetown, Durban - KwaZulu Natal MANAGER: MARKETING AND SALES A new five-year contract position for Manager Marketing and Sales has opened with one of our clients, and qualified candidates are invited to apply for this strategic role, as outlined below.
Purpose of the Job: To ensure effective implementation of the companies Marketing, Branding, Communication, and Sales Strategy To communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure their full understanding of the companies Products and Services offerings as defined in the strategic objectives To actively lead the cross-functional team within, ensuring effective communication of the companies value proposition and implementation of market growth strategy As part of the Management, take an active role in developing and shaping the marketing team and team structure, as well as improving the overall engagement of the marketing team To guide, support, motivate and develop direct reports, embedded in the companies core values.. Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the position are marketing / strategic advisory Strategy and Product Development Sales & Operation Planning Stakeholder Management Communication Strategy Implementation.
Minimum Requirements: Matric with Bachelors degree in business management /marketing/accounting and BComm Honors in Accounting or Marketing will be an added advantage.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience within the marketing environment of which 3 years should be at middle management level Fair understanding of both private and public sector Proven experience in development and implementation of marketing, brand-positioning and sales strategy for large organization.
Technical and Functional Competencies: We are looking for an individual who has proven exceptional strategic marketing skills with success in driving market share and in market development Experienced in managing key business processes eg demand planning, customer/sales interface/influence, product development Proven ability to lead and develop teams Very good project management skills Excellent stakeholder management skills to manage diverse & challenging relationships both locally and internationally Excellent communication & concept/product insight and development skills Superb analytical, commercial and financial skills Strong presentation and communication skills Digital marketing management including campaign development & optimization, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing & Performance Marketing.
Experience in Precision Marketing an added advantage.
