Business Segment: Insurance & Asset Management
To establish and maintain a robust accounting framework for risk hedging activities, aligned with IFRS and Group guidelines, through adequate product control; preparation, verification and reporting of daily and monthly profit and loss; balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation; valuation testing of Financial Instruments and trading inventory, to produce and validate financial statements to ensure the associated market risk is maintained within established appetite.
QualificationsPost Graduate DegreeField of Study: Finance and AccountingExperience RequiredProduct ControlFinance & Value Management3-5 years Experience in establishing and maintaining robust financial controls, preferably around trading desk activities.3-4 years Experience in preparation or audit of financial statements or financial accounting/control in a financial services organization.Previous Standard Bank Experience (Advantage)
