Manager - Employer of Record (EOR) Division Location: Cape Town; Hybrid/Remote or Office Remuneration: Base Salary: R50,000 R80,000 per month.
Incentives & Bonuses based on performance and revenue targets.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Employer of Record (EOR) Division , based in Cape Town.
You will oversee a team of 10 EOR Business Development Consultants , manage their performance, and ensure the team achieves its business objectives.
You will also be responsible for developing your own portfolio of clients, driving revenue, and providing leadership to the division.
This is a hybrid role , working on UK time , and requires a dynamic leader with a strong commercial mindset and a solid background in Business Development in the UK market .
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Growth: Manage, train, and motivate a team of 10 EOR Business Development Consultants.
Identify talent needs and strategically grow the team to support business expansion.
Conduct weekly KPI meetings to track individual and team performance.
Hold monthly revenue meetings to analyze financial outcomes and identify opportunities for growth.
Foster a high-performing culture within the division.
Client Portfolio Management: Build and manage your own portfolio of EOR clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive division revenue.
Set and Monitor Sales Targets: Develop clear, measurable sales goals aligned with business objectives.
Continuously track performance against targets, identifying gaps and addressing them proactively.
Analyse Sales Metrics and Data: Use analytics to evaluate sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and customer acquisition costs.
Generate detailed reports and provide actionable insights to improve sales outcomes.
Drive Revenue Growth: Implement strategies to increase top-line revenue by focusing on high-margin products, upselling, and cross-selling.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to boost sales volume.
Forecast Sales Performance: Create accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and pipeline analysis.
Adjust strategies and team focus based on forecasted outcomes.
Manage the Sales Pipeline: Ensure the sales funnel remains robust by tracking lead generation, prospecting, and deal progression.
Use CRM tools to monitor pipeline health and ensure no opportunities are lost.
Implement Sales Processes and Best Practices: Develop standardized sales processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.
Regularly review and refine processes based on performance data and market feedback.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to staff to enhance their skills in Business Development and EOR services.
Ensure team members are well-versed in industry trends, compliance requirements, and service offerings.
Conduct Regular Performance Reviews: Hold weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with sales reps to review KPIs, set action plans, and address challenges.
Use performance data to motivate and reward top performers.
Strategic Input: Work closely with senior management to align the division's goals with organizational objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations for business expansion and process improvements.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align strategies and improve the customer journey.
Provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing campaigns.
Focus on ROI and Profitability: Analyse the profitability of deals and ensure that sales activities align with financial goals.
Minimize unnecessary expenses while maximizing the return on investment for sales initiatives.
Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience , preferably leading Business Development teams.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the EOR industry with a deep understanding of its processes and services.
Proven track record in Business Development, with a solid background in the UK market .
Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
Proficient in using CRM and ATS platforms.
Ability to analyse data and present actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications: A degree or National Diploma in Business, Management, or a related field is an advantage.
Additional Requirements: Must be based in Cape Town .
Ability to work hybrid (remote and office-based).
Must be available to work, UK hours .
