About the Role As an Employee Experience Manager, you will design and implement programs and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience, including fostering a positive work culture, promoting employee engagement, and improving productivity.
The Employee Experience Manager serves as a key liaison between various senior global stakeholders, facilitates communications, and provides strategic guidance to ensure program success, whilst delivering a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Responsibilities Support senior stakeholders in the delivery of strategic priorities by ensuring that all Employee Experience programs and initiatives are aligned and have clear and demonstrable success measures that link to Net POS Some examples of initiatives owned by Ex include, Early careers program for South Africa Onboarding and early engagement programs Design and support of training programs focused on niche skills such as Data Science, and manager development in partnership with Talent & Capabilities (T&C) Support ongoing development around future ways of working, such as internal use of GenAI Support change management initiatives, tasks related to global business initiatives.
Interact with employees through various channels to gain insight into key moments that matter, identifying where EX can add value and deliver business improvements.
Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and achievements.
Engage with executive leadership to align program goals and secure necessary support.
Build close relationships with local HR, T&C, Finance and leadership teams, and help align global ways of working with local business priorities.
Conduct employee research and gather insights to understand behaviors, needs and pain points.
Use this data to inform EX design decisions.
Utilize various tools, techniques, and skills to extract insights and knowledge from a variety of data sources.
Use data visualization tools and techniques to present findings effectively, communicating complex insights to stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) using visualization, reports, and presentations.
Contribute to global EX updates to Senior leadership and leverage data to articulate, advocate for local business needs.
Leverage existing data sources such as Employee surveys, RELX leadership framework, Tech radar, Global Townhalls and adopt these for Ex initiatives.
Support the Head of Employee Experience (HEX) in discovering and testing new EX initiatives and programs designed to drive employee engagement and improve productivity.
Develop program objectives, strategies, feasibility, risk, resource and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, deliverables, timelines, budget constraints and ownership.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute program activities, ensuring adherence to established plans; fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Benchmark success criteria, BAU ownership with clear handover plans, where appropriate.
Identify the plan for year-on-year improvements relative to business deliverables for those initiatives that remain within the remit of EX.
