Manager: Compliance And Investigations

Tracker requires the services of a Compliance and Investigations Manager, in the critical services department based at our Head Office in Johannesburg. The incumbent will be responsible for complying with applicable legislation, identifying, and minimizing operational risks.Operational Strategy Formulation and ImplementationProvides input into strategic decisions to reduce non-compliance risks and possible violations.Key liaison with external law enforcement bodies (through insights and expertise).Ensures Tracker's operations are compliant with relevant industry bodies.Promotes and monitors compliance with the Tracker Code of Business Conduct and associated policies.Provides summary reports; participates in key meetings; and assists with coordination of risk assessment and providing triage on investigation matters.Reports back to the Head of Critical Services, COO, and EXCO on the progress of investigations and takes proactive corrective measures where required.Plans and executes investigations following approved company policies and processes, whilst adhering to relevant laws.Writes high-quality reports for an audience of leaders in the organization up to and including the Executive Committee.Assumes responsibility for all activities and initiatives related to the recovery of motor vehicles.Assigns investigations to professional employees and ensures that employees follow approved investigations procedures.Assumes responsibility for preparing properly documented Critical Services investigations documents.Responsible for formulating investigations SOPs.Responds to all risk events in a timely and professional manner and measures and monitors these according to quality and performance standards.Establishes quality and performance standards for the Critical Services division and measures adherence to them continuously.Ensures the optimal allocation of resources to meet performance, quality, and customer requirements.Ensures the implementation of formal processes to support the recovery service and all other relevant services.Anticipates and responds to any major product changes or issues that may arise.Responsible for the development, measurement, and monitoring of installation performance and quality.Sets service standards applicable to the Critical Services division that foster a customer-centric environment.Cultivates an operational service that embraces and relies on the proper use of data insights and relevant statistics to drive continuous improvement across the division.Facilitates relevant and regular management report meetings with relevant stakeholder divisions to provide detailed feedback to the EXCO.Responsible for the negotiation or approval of relevant contracts or agreements with operational suppliers, distributors, state agencies, or any other relevant stakeholders on behalf of Tracker and Critical Services.Stakeholder EngagementCreates and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with all relevant external stakeholders by ensuring that all partner obligations are met, and expectations exceeded.Continuously scans the environment for potential opportunities to grow the Tracker business in line with stakeholder expectations.Successfully navigates the complexities of changing conditions as they relate to key partners functioning in different locations and being subjected to different regulations.Develops key relationships between Tracker and key partners (SAPS, SANDF, Zonke-Unicode, etc.) to ensure that the operational deployment of Tracker technology and Tracker's supporting actions provide customers with a market-leading recovery rate.Builds and manages professional and effective law enforcement liaison and response teams and oversees all related processes.Provides intelligent data on recoveries and responses and communicates this to the engineering and product development teams to improve processes.Acts as a direct link between Tracker and key partners, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations.Ensures effective cross-functional Tracker relationships through sharing of relevant information to assist all divisions in the achievement of their objectives.Prepares a complete and optimized budget for the Compliance and Investigations division.Responsible for the successful achievement of all financial targets and goals within budget.Manages the divisional budget so that overall costs remain within the total divisional budget.Ensures adherence to the financial authorities contained in the current Delegation of Authority regulations.Cultivates financial management practices across the division.Implements divisional level standard practices, policies, and procedures to govern the successful consideration and implementation of relevant new business ventures and opportunities.People ManagementHelps develop compliance and investigations training.Takes on responsibility for the implementation of targets, performance management, and the required cascading of performance objectives to drive operational success.Leads and develops all staff within the Critical Services division.Maintains a professional environment.Applies knowledge, seeks assistance, assigns resources, and applies judgment to resolve people-related problems effectively.Sets an example for all senior leaders and staff by living the values and the brand of Tracker every day.Shares best practices, strategies, and initiatives to ensure success across all functions within Tracker.Maintains a continuous focus on improving overall productivity throughout the Critical Services division.Creates an environment where staff are developed, engaged, and successfully retained.Guides the determination of staffing requirements and oversees all personnel processes for the Operations division, including performance management, mentoring, coaching, recruitment, engagement, etc.Benefits: Medical and Provident fund.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 10 years management experience.Minimum of 5 years management experience within the Critical Services division.Specific experience involving senior responsibilities in Operations Management, Systems and Processes Management, Control Centre Management, and Customer Experience - Desirable.Specific
