In their pursuit of uncompromising quality, our teams are tasked with ensuring all the materials they source continue to drive more sustainable and efficient production methods too.Leading the team responsible for Purchasing & Supply Chain Quality (QMT) within the Bespoke business of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.What awaits you?Leads the procurement and external development of new Bespoke engineered products and features for the fulfilment of client specified features, low volume collection vehicles, option features and accessories within the business.Develops, steers and realises commodity strategies to support the long-term product planning requirements of the Bespoke business.Manages and develops a unique bespoke supplier base, ensuring bespoke suppliers are capable of supplying to RRMC's cost, logistics and quality requirements.Full lifecycle responsibility across the external supply chain from innovation concepts to end of production.Leads, manages, motivates, develops and organises a team of Buyers & Quality Engineers to ensure the team delivers the purchasing targets for timely supplier nomination and purchase order placement in support of the Bespoke business.Working as part of the leadership team with Engineering colleagues and cross functionally with Product owners, Business steerers, Manufacturing and Design to deliver complex projects and future strategy fulfilment.What should you bring along?University degree in Purchasing, Supply chain management, Business, Engineering or similar.Proven professional experience in the field of Automotive purchasing or supply chain quality.Significant team leadership experience.Good working knowledge of legal frameworks, contracts.Strong awareness of Business and Automotive accreditations including ISO 9001, TS/16949, ISO 45001 (was 18001), ISO 14001.Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes, suitable for low volume manufacturing and high quality provision.Are you a strong commercial and team leader, passionate about the luxury Automotive sector?
