Account management is a client-facing, post-sale capability. Account managers (who can be TBs) typically work with a dedicated group of clients to help achieve the client's goals. Account managers are also tasked with growing these accounts through keeping quality of product execution high so clients want to renew/expand contracts/wallet.

The mandate is to proactively manage and co-own the client experience, delivery and servicing across our African footprint for transactional products and services (Investor Services, Cash and Trade) to drive sustained client revenue growth.

This role is for the Africa | Middle East and Asia corridor.
Outputs and measures: Strategy and Financial - Deliver against approved strategy and budget with focus on product revenue drivers: Cash Revenues, Trade Revenues and Investor Services Revenues Deliver sustained financial performance through:
• Executing against approved budgets for target clients
• Execution of plans to deliver on agreed client revenue growth targets
• Focus on sustainability factors (B/S growth, asset growth,
liabilities growth)
• Managing and anticipating risk
• Non- financial indicators (client planning)
Co-owns setting the strategic direction, goals, growth initiatives and business objectives for the client portfolio, in line with the broader sales objectives.

Apply focus geared on the high complexity around Multinationals involving higher strategic engagements with a directed approach on global strategic planning with a wider range of stakeholders aligned to global strategies.

Ensure understanding of the dynamics of Trade, Cash Management and Investor Services with aview to assess market trends, identify new business opportunities or competitive threats in markets. Devise strategies within the TBCT to capture the opportunities and grow revenues and ensure achievement of revenues across the targeted client base.
Outputs and measures 2 Client: Partner with stakeholders to drive excellent client experience Provide a seamless, consistent and optimal client experience through participation on a TBCT with other members of the TPS team, by offering:
Deep knowledge into the client's businesses, sector and client value chain in order to appropriately advise and deliver specific solutions that address their banking needsBecoming a trusted partner to clients founded on a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationshipPartnering the other members of the TBCT to focus on the right solutions for the clientAllocating appropriate focus (planning and delivery) and partnering people (tools and expertise) to service the specific needs of our most valuable clientsWhen necessary, partner with a Global Transactional Banker in contributing to a global client mandateTrade Finance experience requiredDrive an integrated client experience by partnering on the journey to Universal Bank and evolving a bank-wide integrated value proposition that would add value to targeted clients.
Optimise the client experience in the region by adopting the client planning & execution framework by proactively driving the client experience through the value chain by:
Incorporating the output from the VOC initiatives into client planning & interactions to achieve client retention and SOW anticipated growth targetsCoordinate and co-own the delivery of the Service Level Agreement or Operating Requirements regionally for Cash, Trade and Investor Services across markets.Drive excellent customer service, ensuring timeous delivery of products and attention to enquiries and escalations in terms of service level agreements.Ensure service escalations and complaints are resolved promptly and feedback is provided.Relationship escalation point with ability to connect to key stakeholders to effect changes for target clients. Knows who to refer to for what – well networkedHost and support due diligence on-sites (regionally) for targeted clients.
Host client engagements and provide insights on: (examples include)
Regulatory changes to environmentInsights from trends experienced (monitoring of SLA in partnership with Ops and other teams)MIS (from across the value chain) where available to help client improve efficiencies and reduce costsDevelop good relationships key contacts with the clients' organisation, from Network Management to Global and EMEA Head of Operations.
Facilitate the implementation of bespoke client needs on an ad-hoc basis.
Manage the account opening process across the transaction banking value chain.
Outputs and measures 3 Risk - Reinforce the culture of doing business the right way by proactive engagement and ongoing risk assessment Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of all Credit Risk, Audit, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal.
Understand, document and track to resolution all identified risk exposures.
Manage credit engagements with client regarding:
Daily excessesLimit increasesManage authorizations for request for additional fundsOutput group Business Operations: Contribute to effective ways of working in TxB Partner with the respective functional colleagues in country, through providing client insights as required for signature implementations
Support and partner functional colleagues in pervasive cross-selling in country
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce

Experience Required Investor Services
Transaction Banking
5-7 years
Knowledge of interdependencies and processes with business areas and external clients to facilitate engagements, audits and implement risk management initiatives.

5-7 years
Knowledge of the Transaction banking product line value chain, regulatory requirements and systems to monitor and manage risks.

8-10 years
Knowledge of risk management within operational environments to identify and assess risks across all risk classes, develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
