We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Couple to join our team, with one individual taking on the role of Lodge Manager and the other as a qualified Professional Hunter. This dynamic duo will ensure the seamless operation of our lodge, offering both world-class hospitality and exceptional guided experiences in the South African bush.Responsibilities:Oversee all daily operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining 5-star standards.Manage staff across all departments, including housekeeping, front-of-house, and food and beverage, ensuring a high level of service.Handle guest relations, manage bookings, and resolve any guest issues or complaints with professionalism and efficiency.Monitor and manage financials, budgets, and operational costs to ensure profitability while maintaining luxury standards.Maintain the lodge's facilities and ensure they are well-kept and meet health and safety regulations.Collaborate closely with the Professional Hunter to create a seamless guest experience that combines luxury lodging with world-class safari activities.Professional Hunter Responsibilities:Provide professional hunting and guided safari experiences for guests, ensuring safety and adherence to ethical hunting practices.Conduct game drives and offer expert knowledge on wildlife, tracking, and conservation.Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles are kept in excellent condition for safaris and hunting activities.Work closely with the Lodge Manager to create tailored guest experiences that reflect the unique offerings of the lodge.Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to hunting and conservation.Requirements for Lodge Manager:Minimum 5 years of experience in lodge management or hospitality management at a luxury property.Strong background in guest relations, staff management, and lodge operations.Proven ability to lead a team, manage operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.Financial acumen to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Requirements for Professional Hunter:Fully qualified and registered Professional Hunter with relevant experience in guiding safaris and managing hunting activities.Strong knowledge of the local environment, wildlife, and hunting ethics.Ability to deliver a personalized and safe experience for guests, catering to a range of preferences.Passion for conservation and wildlife education.Benefits:Live in, meals on duty, 6 weeks on 2 weeks off, medical aid and pension contribution.
