Management Accounting AnalystArea: Sandton, GautengPackage: R35000 CTC to R40000 CTCPurpose of the position: An exciting opportunity for a Management Accounting Analyst to join a growing team. The role holder will be a key member of the Finance team working closely with the teams in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reviews with Senior Leadership team, presenting current financial performance, outlook and highlighting areas of opportunity and issue.Provide commercial and financial support for business change activities, e.g. M&A, cost reviews.Execute as needed on required finance close and reporting activities.Support management of business unit cost and revenue within budget parameters.Business unit performance analysis reviewing (income and expenses) actuals compared to budget, forecast and PY results.Support in the management of regulatory requirements.Build strong relationships across the Senior Leadership team.Skills, Experience and Requirements:Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CA(SA) / CIMA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.Newly qualified CA (SA) or candidates with at least an Honours Degree will be considered.Sound knowledge of IFRS.The candidate should be resourceful, proactive and able to self-manage adherence to reporting deadlines.Strong financial reporting skills including experience with the production of financial statements.Strong attention to detail.Previous experience of working within the Financial Services industry will be advantageous.Previous planning, budgeting and forecasting experience would be an asset.Previous experience in preparing board reports would be an asset.Skillset Required:Proactive, Outlook, Financial Reporting, Forecasting, Financial Statements, Attention To Detail, Reporting Skill, Leadership, CIMA, Budgeting, Strong Attention
