Westfalia Marketing (Pty) Ltd has a permanent vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Management Accountant, based in Tzaneen.Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering Commercial.Duties and Responsibilities:Export Pools:Communication with Growers, Customers, Credit Control Team, Procure to Pay Team, and Commercial Team on export poolsEnsure timeous receipt of customer advances by liaising with Credit Control TeamPreparing timeous and accurate grower advance payment instructions to be sent to Procure to Pay TeamProcessing and finalization of export pools (Advance Receipts and Payments, Customer account sales and final payment and cost deduction calculations for grower payments)Preparing timeous and accurate final payment instructions to be sent to Procure to Pay TeamLiaising with Credit Control Team to ensure timeous processing and sending of customer final account sales and ensuring timeous receipt of fundsIntercompany sales orders and purchase orders invoice processing for commissionGeneral and monthly journals for export poolsVessel reconciliations for export poolsAssist with improving processes and controlsBank and Cash:Timeous release of incoming funds from foreign customers and Forex tradingWeekly completion of cash flow requirements for the company and emailing relevant information to intercompany growersInvoice Finance Agreement Management and applicationsAdhoc:Assist with annual financial statement audit, BBBEE audit, APAC audit, and Tax audits where neededAssist with other adhoc duties as and when requiredMinimum Requirements:Education and Experience:Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience as an accountant/management accountant or similar within a large company environmentPost matric qualification in accounting/management accounting or similarIntermediate to advanced Excel knowledge would be an added advantageProficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Valid driver's license and own transportExperience in the Agricultural industry will be an added advantageKnowledge and Skills:Knowledge:Experience with full finance function up to trial balanceExperience with banking, debtors, creditors, management accounts, SARS, cashflow managementExperience with compilation of audit files and assisting with SARS auditsSkills:Attention to detailCritical thinking skillsHigh level of accuracy in preparing and submitting informationStrong interpersonal skillsTeam playerComputer literacyKnowledge of Microsoft applicationsAttitude & Behavior:Proactive and able to work independentlyProfessional and courteous demeanorStrong organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyDependable and reliablePositive attitude towards teamwork and collaborationRemuneration:The Company offers a Total Guaranteed Remuneration Package, which comprises a provident fund, insured benefits, medical aid, and an option to structure an annual bonus.
