We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and results-driven Management Accountant to join our client's finance team, based in the vibrant Waterfront area of Cape Town.
Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is looking for a skilled individual with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and sales performance reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of market trends, variance analysis, and the ability to provide insightful commentary to support strategic decision-making.
Duties:Analyze sales performance, identify market trends, and generate reports that offer valuable insights to the business.Provide detailed commentary and explanations on monthly and quarterly budgets, highlighting variances and offering solutions for corrective actions.Conduct in-depth variance analysis on sales and other financial metrics and prepare reports on trends to facilitate data-driven decision-making.Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting standards.Recommend and implement process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
