Management Accountant / Junior Financial Manager

Job & Company Description:The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and running the finance activities for the division, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.This position will report directly to the Divisional Financial Manager.Duties include, but are not limited to:Develop financial well-being of division by providing full spectrum of financial servicesReview and interpret monthly management accounts, and further recommendationsAnalyse and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancementConduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities, and assist with strategic analysis and planningEstablish finance and operational strategiesReview and sign off on journalsAssessment and implementation of internal controlsPrepare inter-divisional reconciliationsReview head office and operational GL reconciliationsManage banking and treasury functionsPrepare annual financial statementsConsolidation of budget templatesAssist with the implementation of new systemsSupport project analysis and the validation of plansEducation:Completed BCom Finance or Accounting degreeJob Experience & Skills Required:Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles1 to 2 years' post articles experience essentialPlant or factory industry experience essentialExperience with cost control and financial analysisStrong analytical skillsStrong presentation and communication skillsStrong business partnering and reporting skillsBusiness and financial acumenMeticulous attention to detailAPPLY NOW!   If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.  For more finance jobs, please visit https://www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com           If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
