Accounting & Record Keeping: Ensure the integrity of financial records by maintaining accurate, up-to-date accounting data. Monthly Management Accounts: Compile and prepare detailed monthly management accounts, providing key insights into the financial performance of the business. Asset Financing: Manage and oversee asset financing processes, ensuring proper allocation and accounting of capital assets. Budgeting & Cash Flow Management: Lead the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure financial stability and alignment with business goals. Quotations and Tenders: Sign off tenders and quotes. Complete and update Price lists. Creditor & Debtor Management: Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections, while maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers and customers. Audit Preparation: Prepare for and assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Trial Balance Preparation: Prepare and review the trial balance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data. Audit File Compilation: Compile and organize complete audit files, ensuring all required documents and supporting evidence are available for review. Statutory Submissions: Ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions, including compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations. Monthly PAYE & VAT Submissions: Submit monthly PAYE and VAT returns to the relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with tax laws and deadlines. Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, highlighting key variances, trends, and insights for senior management and decision-making. In charge of weekly financial reporting and Monthly Profit & Loss Report. Stock Management: Forecast, plan, and report on stock levels, ensuring efficient inventory management and alignment with production needs. Fixed Asset Register & Capex Control: Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure the capital expenditure control schedule is up to date, accurate, and in compliance with company policies. A relevant degree (e.g., BCom in Accounting, Financial Management) or equivalent qualification. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong knowledge of accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with senior management, auditors, and external stakeholders. Ability to identify and address financial issues and opportunities for improvement.
