Management Accountant

Salary: R25 000 - R40 000 dependent on experience
Job DescriptionA well-established small auditing firm is in need of an Accountant to work with various clients regarding their financial reports, documentation, taxation, VAT reconciliations, VAT submissions, Income Tax submissions, preparing management accounts, financial statements, and various other accounting duties. Must have a qualified BCom Accounting degree. A minimum of 5 years' work experience is required in a similar environment. The role is in-office and working hours are 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm. This position suits a dynamic accountant who enjoys working on multiple clients and projects. They have many clients across industries.
Responsibilities:

Financial statements
VAT reconciliations for multiple clients
VAT submissions
Income Tax submissions
Preparing management accounts
Financial reports
Loading of information onto the system
Able to compile documentation and contact clients with outstanding information
Must be able to do reconciliations up to trial balance
Understanding of financial reports

Requirements:

SA Citizen, own transport and driver's licence, able to get to Bedfordview daily
Must have completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting / Auditing
A part qualified CA (SA) with completed articles in auditing favourable
Minimum five years' in financial control and accounting
Must be proficient in Excel at an advanced level
