Our client is currently looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with strong financial acumen and a background in manufacturing or distribution to support the company's financial operations and provide key business insights.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections and variance analysis.
Provide management with detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making processes.
Oversee and improve cost control measures, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency across operations.
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, focusing on performance metrics, profitability, and key financial ratios.
Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and internal corporate policies.
Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with various internal teams to provide financial guidance and support ongoing growth initiatives.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary financial data and ensuring compliance.
Support and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, or CA(SA)) highly preferred.
Experience:3-5 years of experience in a Management Accountant role, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Pastel, or similar), with advanced Excel skills.
Analytical Abilities: Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills, with a high attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Compliance: Strong understanding of financial regulations and statutory compliance.
Personal Attributes: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
