Management Accountant

Job & Company Description: This company specialising in insurance is urgently looking for a phenomenal candidate to fill their recently vacated Management Accountant role for a 3 months period, to provide monthly statutory, regulatory and management reporting for a specified C&I business unit.
This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, applicable laws, codes and regulations amongst other things.
The key responsibilities for this role will include: Cost containment: Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contribution to costs and productivityIdentify and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costsRisk and Compliance: Comply with and adhere to identified governance and compliance standards and escalate problems for investigation and resolutionProvide timeous reports on operations, performance and audit findingsReport on transactional activity progressionBusiness information analysisCollect and analyse data to determine cost of business activities and report on resultsAnalyse monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
