Management Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant with exposure to the mining sector. In this role, you will assist in setting up the management accounting function and help drive growth through budgeting and forecasting, profit and loss reporting, balance sheet analysis and sales and logistics analysis. Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual management reporting and analysis within the required time frames to provide feedback on performance. Analyse trends and financial performance across the business. Review processes and financial reporting requirements and recommend improvements. Responsible for the full budgeting and forecasting process for the group including, financial modelling, process management, monitoring and analysis. Prepare and monitor cashflow forecasts. Ensure function adheres to Group governance, policies and standards, statutory and legal compliance. Responsible for the integrity of financial systems so that they adhere to the applicable accounting standards and company policies. Take accountability for the management of direct reports and functions in the department if applicable. Establish development and training plans for individual team members with a focus on promoting, developing, and retaining high caliber employees.
