Financial Services Management Accountant required in Sandton for a 12 month contract opportunity.
This role is responsible for providing monthly statutory, regulatory, and management reporting for specific business units.
This role requires a balance of financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive financial analysis of business performance, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.Prepare and consolidate management reports, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance reports.Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business units' financial planning.Ensure adherence to governance, compliance standards, and company policies.Optimize work processes, recommend improvements, and identify opportunities for cost containment.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing insightful financial guidance. Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear explanations for variances.Ability to utilize accounting software and other financial tools to perform detailed cost and financial analysis.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple deadlines efficiently. Required Education Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Honours) or equivalent.Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role.
