Are you a Mechanic or Engineer looking for a refreshing, exciting change? This is your chance to be part of the Dart River Adventures maintenance team - We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work. You will be based in our workshop located in Glenorchy.
At Dart River Adventures every day is different, bringing unique challenges within our dynamic maintenance environment. Day-to-day you could find yourself diagnosing, servicing, and building our boats while ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. We operate a fleet of eight, twin engine jet boats, a range of light vehicles, commercial vehicles, plant and equipment.
We're after someone who has:
Mechanical, Engineering Trade Certificate or relevant trade-based qualificationAbility to carry out diagnostics of marine combustion engines, vehicles, and other plant onsiteCan demonstrate a high level of workmanship with the ability to read and interpret drawings and service manualsPositive attitude toward systems, documentation, and process requirementsKnowledge of asset management software packages (would be advantageous)General engineering skills, ability to use and operate Lathe, Mill, MIG, TIG welders with experience working with Aluminum and Stainless-Steel materials (would be advantageous)Commitment to maintaining high standards of Health and Safety in the workplaceAvailability to work weekends and public holidays to meet operational requirements"Role up ya' sleeves" - Can-Do positive attitude with a commonsense approach!What's in it for you?
