Maintenance Technician

A top manufacturer has a fantastic opportunity in Cape Town for a Maintenance Technician with a hands-on approach. Requirements include a tertiary engineering qualification (minimum N6, diploma or degree) and at least 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and PLCs are essential. The successful candidate will install, maintain and repair all relevant machinery, monitor and analyse equipment performance and assist with troubleshooting as needed. Responsibilities further include testing and calibrating equipment, staying on top of relevant technological developments and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
