Maintenance Techician

Summary
Hyatt Regency Cape is looking for a Maintenance Technician (Handyman). You will excel in this role if you are an efficient, solution-driven individual who is hardworking and functions well within a team.
The successful candidate should be an experienced Handyman.
Key duties but not limited to:

Work closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
Carry out and complete all maintenance works/requests according to the established schedule and ensure high quality of finishing work, paying particular attention to guest-related jobs.
Ensure cleanliness of all work areas and protect the surroundings when executing duties.
Ensure fire, life, and safety systems are operational.

Qualifications
Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' general maintenance experience within a hotel setting.
Qualification and/or experience in at least one of the following: Electrical, plumbing, and/or air-conditioning and heat pump repairs and maintenance.
Knowledge of safe working procedures of electrical tools and equipment.
Basic hand tools and electrical knowledge.
Certification in either First Aid or Fire Fighting/Fire safety would be advantageous.
