Maintenance Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:Obtain quotes and execute all aspects of campus projects (maintenance and new).Co-ordination and management of projects, contractors and subcontractors.Vetting of all contractors including subcontractors.Professional interaction with architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and other consultants.Control and maintain high standard of service.Compile specifications for all projects.Regular reporting and ad hoc reports.Budget control within each project including compilation, control, estimates, reports, quotes and payments.Assist with other tasks as requested by management from time to time.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years relevant experienceA relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageousExcellent role model and effective in leading, motivating and supporting a teamA high level of professionalism, discretion, integrity, confidentiality and sensitivityAbility to think and engage strategically, work well under pressure and achieve tight deadlinesHigh standards and good attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem solving skillsSuperb planning, coordination and administrative skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsA good working knowledge of the OHSActKnowledge of civil, electrical, plumbing, building and mechanical faultsProficiency in computer programmes and applications (Microsoft Suite and Google Applications)Ability to work under pressure*ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
