Maintenance Plumber

Established plumbing company that is well known in the construction industry, based in Hout Bay, is in need of a Trade Tested Plumber with a minimum of 4 – 5 years' experience within the construction / maintenance industries.The ideal candidate will have the following experience:Conduct on-site inspections of plumbing systems and equipment damaged by insured eventsAssess damage, take photos, and gather data for reporting purposesProvide detailed reports, estimates, and recommendations for repairs or replacementsEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocolsInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structuresCollaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during constructionPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniquesComplete light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as requiredPrepare client bids, budgets, and cost estimatesKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials usedAdhere to all plumbing building codes and regulationsEnsure all work meets safety standards and follows best practicesDevelop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other industry professionalsStay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and changing regulationsEducation:Grade 12 and must have completed and passed the relevant plumber trade test as specified in the Manpower training act section 28 or 13Red Seal & Leak Detection4 – 5 years of experience as a PlumberProficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and OutlookValid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site inspections)The ideal candidate should reside in Hout Bay or close surroundingsSkills:Ability to work individually or part of a teamCall Outs & Identify ProblemsWork in a professional manner and revert back to clientMust be able to submit quotesExcellent communication, reporting, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlinesWilling to travel locallyIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply with your most recent resume & supporting documents.
