Job Overview The position will be based at Sasol Secunda Bossjiespruit Mine and the incumbent will report to the Administration Manager. Responsible for the long-term strategic plan in terms of planning, resourcing, scheduling, and co-ordination of all maintenance work for maintaining and enhancing equipment reliability, by the most cost-effective methods available to minimize risk and rework. Key Job Responsibilities Responsible for the long-term strategic plan in terms of planning, resourcing, scheduling, and co-ordination of all maintenance work for maintaining and enhancing equipment reliability, by the most cost-effective methods available to minimize risk and rework; Responsible for the planning, resourcing, and co-ordination of onsite Project Plans; Accountable to plan, schedule, and co-ordinate all maintenance work and resources required; To maintain and enhance equipment availability and efficiency, and to assist the Maintenance team with scheduling and resourcing; To plan, schedule and coordinate spares & labour for maintenance required to maintain Joy Continuous Miners, Joy Shuttle Cars and LDVs; To ensure reliable and available support equipment critical to the Maintenance strategy; Accountable for Expediting of units/parts for on time completion of planned work; Checking of shortages and provide information on the delivery dates for Planned Maintenance and Rebuild Projects Parts, Labour and Support; Verify information on submitted Job Cards, identify repetitive events, new defects, possible improvements to tasks or processes. Qualifications/Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent; Certified Maintenance Planner (MPS) or similar; Several years of experience in a maintenance-related field. Proficiency with CMMS software; Valid Driver's license with own transport; Computer literate (Minimum intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Advantage to have – SAP experience, a Technical background or trade is an advantage.
