Conduct Reliability, Preventative, Execution, Recovery, and Campaign extension maintenance, and Planning and Scheduling in line with guidelines stipulated by the Maintenance Business Improvement (BI) Asset Reliability Program (ARP)Deliver the annual planned production based on customer requirements, in line with the monthly capacity plan, while maintaining the plant capability for future yearsDirect and coordinate the maintenance process functions within relevant areas of responsibilityMinimizing impact of relevant processes on the environmentEnsure that maintenance is performed in accordance with the Quality Management SystemContinuous improvement (CI) of maintenance processes towards operational excellence and supporting production methods and unit production costsCollaboratively adapt production plans with managers in line with prevailing plant business imperatives and forecastsContribute towards maximisation of the economic value and long-term sustainability of maintenance & production processes and assetsParticipate in the manufacturing business planning and budgeting process as well as customer, supply and value chain initiativesDrive CI and CAPEX initiatives for the Maintenance Plant DepartmentManage total maintenance budget and spending based on sound business principlesConduct high level negotiations with customers and suppliersCoaching and development of direct reports and high potential employeesManagement of SHERQ, information technology and communication issues within area of responsibility Qualification B-Degree (NQF 8/10) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and preferably completion of a Management Development ProgramGovernment Certificate of Competence Skills and Experience 6 years' relevant experience, preference in an industrial environmentMinimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial roleExperience in managing the maintenance of complex plantSound knowledge and experience in the management of manufacturing systems Personal Attributes Analytical and problem solving skillsStrategic thinkerHighly motivatedInnovative, commitment and integrityQuality drivenPro-active, initiative and performance drivenAbility to lead and to relate with plant personnel#J-18808-Ljbffr
