Maintenance Manager - Pretoria East R 17 500 Basic Salary

Business and Office Park in Pretoria East is looking for a Maintenance and FACILITY MANAGER.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and Repairs:Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas in need of maintenance and repair.Develop and implement maintenance schedules for buildings, landscaping, and common areas.Arrange for and supervise maintenance and repair work, including but not limited to building repairs, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical fencing, security booms, staff ablution facilities, and lighting maintenance.Maintain an inventory of all equipment and tools used on the property.Monitor that all maintenance and repairs are done in compliance with relevant regulations and building codes.Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.Manage maintenance tasks as indicated in the 10-year maintenance plan and propose tasks for inclusion in the plan.Sign off on work completed by service providers before payment and ensure relevant documentation for warranties is provided to the Managing Agent.Plan, design, and maintain the landscaping and grounds of the property.Ensure that plants are healthy and well-maintained.Plan and implement an irrigation schedule for plants and grass.Ensure that all garden equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.Regularly maintain and clear any vegetation or obstructions around the electrical fence to ensure optimal functioning.Cleaning:Develop and implement a cleaning schedule for common areas, including staircases, balconies, parking, lawns, and all other common areas.Ensure that the bin area is clean, tidy, and hygienic, and oversee waste management.Supervise cleaning staff, provide training, and ensure they are properly equipped.Maintain cleaning products and equipment inventory.Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness.Pest Control:Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any signs of pest activity or infestation.Implement control measures to prevent pests from entering the property and to eliminate existing infestations.Maintain records of pest activity and control measures.Desired Experience & Qualification5 - 10 years relevant Maintenance Management/Facility Management experienceRelevant qualification will be a plusEXCELLENT communication and management skillsPackage & RemunerationR 17 500 BASIC SALARY
