Maintenance Manager: Plastics Manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plansInspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective partsOperating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machineries.Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installationsParticipating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machinesKeeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentationCleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machineries.Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliancesMaintaining a clean and environmentally safe work areaPerforming other related duties as assignedSupport planned production volumes Desired Experience & Qualification Trade test: Millwright or Fitter and Turner Minimum of 4 years experience as a Maintenance Manager Must have experience in a production environmentAutoCad is essential Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical systems Problem/fault finding skills in electro-mechanical systemsRead and understand electrical schematics
