Maintenance Manager

Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of the power plant by managing a team of maintenance technicians and other professionals who work together to ensure that the plant is running smoothly and safely Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma2-4 years experience in a similar managerial position5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environmentSound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management CMMS knowledge.Sound knowledge of OHS ActSound knowledge and Experience in Labour LegislationGeneral Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage. Key Performance Outputs Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices, and people to support the operational departmental actionsAlign with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning, and capital spares optimizationTo lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.
