Maintenance Manager (Dairy Industry)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced MAINTENANCE MANAGER (DAIRY INDUSTRY) for a well-established concern, position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands area.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Relevant tertiary qualification / trade.

5+ years in a similar role and industry.

Good understanding of mechanical concepts - pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, UHT systems, boilers, generators, etc.

Strong project management skills.

Implementing and managing maintenance strategies across our factory.

Leading and managing the maintenance team's task load, performance, and work quality.

Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure manufacturing KPI's are achieved.

Strict stock management of critical spares, as well as manage the control standards of the workshop equipment.

Implementation and planning of preventative maintenance schedules.

Manage and accountable to annual repairs and maintenance budget.

Willingness to work long hours on adhoc basis.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
