Maintenance Manager - Chemical Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance activities at our client's chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of chemical processes and equipment, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery within the facility, including reactors, pumps, mixers, and instrumentation- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed- Work closely with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including hazardous waste management and handling procedures- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs- Monitor and report on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and inventory levels- Participate in plant safety audits and incident investigations as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a chemical manufacturing environment- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and equipment, including pumps, valves, reactors, and instrumentation- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance practices- Excellent leadership and communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Knowledge of safety regulations and hazardous materials handling proceduresRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
