Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced, well-presentedMaintenance Managerfor a top-rated and award-winning 5* Hotel & Spa in Cpe Town, Western Cape.Requirements for the position:MUST have min 5 years of recent/current experience in 5* hotel maintenance management (Senior level)Own transport preferredValid driver's licenseIdeally must already reside in the Cape Town AreaRelevant trade qualifications/certificationsExperienced with HVAC systems, plumbing, general maintenance, electrical, groundskeeping etcMain Duties (Summarized Overview):To implement and plan maintenance programmes for the building, plant & equipment and to negotiate service contracts for specialized equipment.Implementation of the company policies.Ensure the implementation of:Fire & Safety programme.Building maintenance & preventive maintenance schedule.Work order system.To ensure that all defects in building, plant & equipment are properly dealt with.To maintain the high standard of cleanliness in all areas not the direct responsibility of the housekeeper or other department heads.To carry out re-decoration of all areas where the expenditure is approved for that purpose.Maintain Master Filing System with Manufacturer's data specifications, manuals etc. on machines and equipment.Maintain all the As Built drawings of the building – Mechanical, structural, Architectural, Electrical etcMake routine inspections of the entire property to check any defects.Attending meetings & preparation of relevant budgets (and budget control)To act as a coordinator for all rehabilitation projects to upgrade the property.Maintenance staff training & managementOrganize the energy conservation committee in the Hotel and conduct meeting to reduce energy cost.Gross Salary Package:R apply below - R apply below per month, with benefits.
