Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager for one of our prestigious clients, a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town, WC. Your Role: As the Maintenance Manager, you'll be the go-to person for the overall operation, administration, and upkeep of the hotel's maintenance and gardens department. You'll ensure the hotel's interior and exterior, including landscaping, pool, and all facilities, are maintained in tip-top condition. From managing repairs to overseeing equipment maintenance, you'll keep the hotel looking its absolute best!
Key Responsibilities:
??? Lead and manage the maintenance and gardens team
??Oversee and coordinate all maintenance tasks, including emergency repairs
?? Keep the hotel's structural, mechanical, and electrical systems running smoothly
??Manage water systems, air conditioning, and heating systems
??Oversee fire protection equipment and safety inspections
?????Maintain appliances, geysers, and pool systems
??Monitor energy consumption and ensure cost-effective maintenance operations
??Implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure high standards are met
Who You Are:
A maintenance all-rounder with knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems ??
Experienced in hospitality maintenance (preferred) ??
Great at planning, budgeting, and team management ??
Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence ??
Positive, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure ?
