Maintenance Handyman

Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Responsible for general maintenance functions such as general repair works, minor electrical repairs, painting, attend to leaks and blocked drains, hanging of pictures, performing of general plumbing duties. Responsible to ensure floors are in good condition and ensuring that ablution facilities are in working conditions on a daily basis. Responsible for undertaking of carpentry duties such as repair and replacement of door locks. Emergency lighting and power supply in case of power failures - to be checked and tested regularly. Responsible for ensuring proper lighting in the building by replacing all light and ballasts which are not in a working order. Ensure work is completed in accordance with the safety guidelines and standards. Inspection of interior and exterior of building and parking areas on a daily basis and ensuring adherence to Occupation Health and Safety standards in daily operations Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans Maintain all relevant maintenance inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage. Maintenance and monthly checking of the generators. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
